She started making films at the age of 13 and has created numerous documentary and narrative shorts. In the spring of 2019, Maia was the student winner of the AT&T Film Awards. That fall, her video about the Burlington High School soccer team’s #EqualPay movement, inspired by the U.S. women’s national soccer team, was featured in CNN, Sports Illustrated, and other national media outlets. In 2022, she worked as a TV Development Intern at Littleton Road Productions (Dr. Death, The Girl From Plainville) and a Content Planning & Scheduling Intern at HBO. Most recently, she was a set production assistant on the films Juror #2, May December, and Eye for an Eye.Now based in Los Angeles, she’s excited to pursue opportunities in TV development.
